Christian Hohn (Studio Lyrique du Palais des Beaux-Arts de Charleroi, C.R.R. de Paris, Amphithéâtre 3000 of Lyon, …) is german, Katia Weimann (vocal coach at the Opéra-Comique de Paris, Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique of Paris, Fondation Royaumont, …) is French. Together, they have decided to pay tribute to German and French culture.
The recital
Dream, nostalgia, desire, hope – these are the themes that are present in all of the art songs and opera arias of this programme. During this concert, the German baritone and the French pianist will interpret works of composers such as Brahms, Debussy, Mahler, Ravel, Strauss, Duparc who have set the wonderful texts of Goethe, Baudelaire, Morand and Banville into music. The artists will offer you a unique moment full of sensibility, a true journey from Romanticism to Impressionism.
